Amarone della Valpolicella Postera Manara 2015. Alcohol content 16% vol. Made from 70% Corvina, 20% Rondinella, Croatina, Oseleta and 10% other grape varieties. Its name derives from a particular vineyard located on the top of a hill, exposed to the sun throughout the day. Aging of 18 months in barriques and tonneau. Then 24 months in steel vats and 6/12 months in bottle. Ruby red with slight garnet tinges, concentrated and bright colour. The wine releases a complex range of aromas: black cherry jam, blueberries crushed in alcohol, dried rose, sweet spices, tobacco, black pepper, wild herbs and chocolates with rum. Concentrated taste with perceptible, soft tannins. Excellent freshness. Very persistent and satisfying. With beef steak and sliced porcini on top or with savoury, seasoned cheeses.
